Adult Sailing (Thursday)
| The Island Sailing Club in Cowes offers a weekly all-comers adult sailing experience during the summer. This weekly programme is immensely popular and has brought some real talent, and more importantly, enormous enjoyment to the Club and to sailing.
No experience is necessary and you don't need to be able to swim. Just turn up at 1800hrs - Pay your entry at the bar then head on down to the Lower Marquee where you'll be briefed and teamed up with a local skipper.
Afterwards you are welcome to stay for a drink and some food in our bar/restaurant. There may be the opportunity to race in the East Cowes Sailing Club Thursday evening races once you feel ready. These are a great introduction to racing as they are very relaxed and a good starter point before going on to ISC Tuesday evening racing. | |
