An Evening With...Desiree Trattles, 'A Harrowing Journey - Sailing into Danger'
As written in her book, Desiree recalls her journey leaving New Zealand in 2007 with her husband on their 39 ft yacht "Skylark II" to sail the world. By 2010 they were in Thailand and had to make a decision on how to continue, ending up sailing across the Indian Ocean, in what turned out to be the height of the Somali Piracy.
