CHRISTCHURCH BAY RACE

25th April

The first race of the Island Sailing Club Inshore Series, the Christchurch Bay race is this year on April 25th. Starting on the Island Sailing Club line, the first warning signal is at 0955. 

In addition, this race plus the Nab Tower race later in September count for the IRC Solent championship, which we are pleased to support along with the Royal Solent YC and the Royal Southern YC in 2026

I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing and by all other rules that govern these events. I undertake to sail in compliance with the RYA Racing Charter, and declare that I hold valid and current insurance which adequately covers me for third party claims of at least £3,000,000 (three million pounds sterling) whilst racing.

I accept that the ISC is providing these races on the strict understanding that neither the Club nor their representatives bear any responsibility for any loss, damage, death or personal injury howsoever caused to any competitor, skipper or crew as a result of their participation in the series. Additionally I warrant the suitability of the yacht for these races.

The information provided on this entry form, will be used to manage your entry. This includes assigning your boat to the correct class, contacting you prior to the event to resolve any queries regarding your entry, contacting you during the races with text messages about the racing, to inform you about protests and other key information, and providing printed and electronic lists that include your boat details (including sail number, boat name, design) to the race management teams.
A subset of your data will be displayed on websites (as an entry list) and made publicly available so that your fellow competitors and other website visitors can see who has entered the event. This data will be limited to your boat details and the name which you have chosen to be displayed in the results.
Your boat and helm name will be displayed publicly both online and on Club noticeboards in the racing results. We will not share or distribute your personal details with any other third party.

I also agree to comply in all respects if in force with current Government Guidelines and RYA recommendations, on and off the water, as they affect my boat and its crew.
